November Art Meet

The time between my monthly meet-ups with my college friends feel so far between. Thirty days is comparable to an eternity when the season changes & the temperature drops, a holiday happens wherein more than fifty people ring your doorbell, stores change their displays, neighbours change their decorations, and co-workers take turns away for holidays.

NaNoWriMo proved to be a very difficult process for me. I made it to 10,000 words, but will be putting the project aside until I’m more readily equipped to handle the subject matter.

My next project, is putting art pieces together for FanCon in June 2018. I’ll still be working on my two graphic novel scripts in the meantime (both the NaNoWriMo project, and the one I started earlier in the year). Having the three projects to switch between will keep me from getting bored or frustrated or “blocked.” The artwork I make for both graphic novels will be the pieces I present at FanCon, as well as additional personal artwork.

I’ve stuck mainly to crocheting the past few months. Time to dust off my artist cobwebs and see what I can accomplish!

Looking forward to seeing everyone today. Hope everyone can make it. 🙂
